French Swimmer, Leon Marchand won two swimming events in one session, both establishing Olympic Records after Wang Chuqin of China suffered a shock defeat in Table Tennis.

Leon Marchand of France has won 03 Olympic Gold medals so far, establishing an Olympic Record each time he has won in the pool. The son of former French Olympic Swimmers – Xavier & Celine, the 22 year old is domiciled in the USA, & is a major in Computer Science from the Arizona State University, for which he is also included in the aquatic team. He is trained by Bob Bowman, who was the mentor of American Michael Phelps, the most successful & most decorated Olympian of all time with 28 medals.
China has won the Men’s Singles Gold & Silver medals since the Olympic Games of 2004 in Athens, Greece. The unexpected loss of Wang Chuqin in the round of 32 means that would not be possible in Paris 2024. Media has highlighted this as the shocking result of the games, so far.
Adriana Oliva was a 16 year old Gymnast who was injured while training for the Olympics in Rio, Brazil. Her dreams shattered of being an Olympic Gymnastic Athlete, she functioned as a keen volunteer in Brazil, watched her country’s teams compete in Shooting, and later on medical advice got involved in Sport Shooting. Having participated in Tokyo, Japan in the last Olympics, she came to Paris as the Pan American Games Champion.
