Susal is our New International Master in Chess!

Susal De Silva of Nalanda College becomes our youngest International Master after his performance of winning the Gold Medal at the Western Asian Youth Chess Championships 2022.

Susal, the most promising Youth Chess Player in the country won the Sri Lanka National Chess Championships consecutively in 2021 and 2022. He has many more awards to his account during a few years of his Chess career.

Susal is the 3rd International Master of Chess in Sri Lanka with Romesh Weerawardena being 1st and Harshana Thilakarathne of Maliyadeva College being the 2nd and strongest.

The CFSL will donate Rs. 100,000/= for his achievement and wish him all courage and commitment to become the 1st Grandmaster of Sri Lanka!
