The launch of Team Sri Lanka to the XXX11 Summer Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 was held at the Hemasiri Fernando Auditorium of the Olympic House in Colombo. Due to strict health guidelines, it was a low key affair.
The XXXII Summer Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 was postponed due to the COVID 19 Pandemic last year. It is scheduled to be held in Japan from 23rd July to 08th August, under strict health regulations.
