The 100% Sri Lankan entity & the only chicken specialist in this country, Crysbro is a household name in Sri Lanka with consumers & a leading hospitality partner. The now much acclaimed Crysbro Next Champ programme, initiated together with the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka, has already identified & selected 20 young athletes from 16 different sports from rural Sri Lanka. 08 of them have by nowachieved international recognition. Nethmi Ahinsa – fondly referred to as the Crysbro Kid by the initiators themselves –
is the best example of this aspect at present. Top performers Ineka Muthuthanthri Cooray Wickramasinghe & Shehan Ambepitiya – both former Sri Lanka record holders in sprint events, overlooked the selection evaluation process. Crysbro have facilitated financial assistance to athletes & coaches while the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka has facilitated enhanced specialised training to them. Having completed 02 years of producing champion athletes – yielding high performances – now the National Olympic Committee of
Sri Lanka & Crysbro are in the threshold of entering another phase of the understanding. The lucrative partnership is now expected to emphatically continue for a decade & more.
