Aim for Development of Youth Affairs & Sports
The 10th Conference of Commonwealth Nation’s Ministers of Youth was held over 05 days at the Marlborough House, London, England. The Pakistan led gathering was held after a lapse of 05 years.
The participants focussed & discussed on development programmes & targets to be achieved on youth policy as well as broad social goals for youth in general. Training sessions to be implemented / conducted for youth entrepreneurship was another area of interest amongst the participants.
In the bilateral discussions, Sri Lanka was interested in developing mainly Kabbadi & Hockey. Malaysia & Pakistan was approached to assist in training players & coaches in this regard.
Minister of Youth & Sports, Roshan Ranasinghe participated from Sri Lanka.
