Postponement of One Event, Covid Infected Competitor Wins a Medal, The Closest Event of the Day in the Pool

IOC 33rd Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024, France 04th Day

The Men’s Individual Triathlon event was postponed by a day, due to poor water quality levels in the river Seine. World Triathlon – the event organiser said it will be held on Wednesday, 30th July.

Adam Peaty of Team England tested positive for COVID, but still managed to win the Silver in the Men’s behind Nicolo Martinen of Italy.

19 Gold Medals were decided in 11 Sports on the day, for Archery, Artistic Gymnastics, Canoe Slalom, Cycling – Mountain Bike, Diving, Equestrian, Fencing, Judo, Shooting, Skateboarding & Swimming.
