The Lady Elizabeth Clifford Cup was first presented in 1911. She was the wife of the then Governor of Ceylon, Sir Hugh Clifford. Kandy SC have won it 21 times. CR & FC & Havelock SC have annexed it on 14 occasions each. Police SC 08, CH & FC 07, Low Country 07, Upcountry 06 have won it too. Dimbulla C&AC, Army SC & United Services SC have been winners on 02 times each. Air Force SC, Navy SC & All Ceylon have been champions once each.
