Late Rukmani Kodagoda was a member of the Perera & Sons Bakers family. She was a Champion Golfer / Tennis Player. She had served as Captain – Ladies Section, Royal Colombo Golf Club in addition to being Chairperson – Sri Lanka Ladies Golf Union in 1990 & 1991.
The Royal Colombo Golf Club is the 02nd oldest Royal Ancient Golf Club in the World. The Match Play format is similar to the Ceylon Amateur Golf Championship – the second oldest Match Play Championship in the world.
