03rd TAFISA World Walking Day 2022

The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka celebrated the World event together with the Ananda Central College, Modera assisted by the Police Station, Modera. Over 100 students were selected to participate in the walk from the school upto the Crow Island Beach, covering a distance of 02 Kms. Value based educational / sports programmes were also conducted for the students. They received certificates of participation. Sports equipment, stationery items, trees for planting & books for use of the library were distributed / donated as part of the day’s activities.
