Devandra Jhahbaria of India won Gold (63.97 M) while Guo Chunliang of China bagged the Silver (59.93 M)

    The Closing Ceremony of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games at the Maracana Football Stadium went off in style despite an unexpected change of weather. The cold winter weather that prevailed during the day turned hostile with strong winds & driving rain. Flooding of roads & residential areas, uprooted trees, broken power lines resulting in disruption of electricity to many areas, roofs of houses blown off & injuries to some due to falling or flying objects was reported in the media. The inclement weather is prevailing even after 12 hours later.
